With the completion of the design and development of the Single Station Universal Joint Wear Simulator, Simulation Solutions is now able to offer a complete portfolio of electromechanical wear and friction simulators for the extensive wear testing of orthopaedic implants.
The phased replacement of the previous range of pneumatic wear simulators with electromechanical wear simulators mirrors the increasingly more stringent demands of regulatory bodies for more aggressively and robustly tested implants. Electromechanics enable Simulation Solutions to offer simulators that run multiple or single demand profiles with far greater precision and accuracy on a consistently repeatable basis.
